On Hollywood’s biggest night, each and every guest got a little treat.

On March 15, attendees of the 2026 Oscars found snack boxes under their seats. Every year, we see the stars hit up In-N-Out after the show, like best actor Michael B. Jordan, but they are able to snack during the ceremony, too.

“I hope you enjoy this Conan O’Brien ‘Moderately Happy Meal,’” Conan O’Brien wrote in a note found in the box, which also included a sketch of the comedian. “These snacks may not look like much but in any movie theater they would run you $85. Good luck tonight, have fun, and remember that loud, enthusiastic laughter is good for your health and my ego.”

O’Brien’s boxes, which were addressed to “Dear Nominee/Plus One/Seat-Filler,” included a bag of popcorn, a bottle of water and either Mike and Ike’s or Junior Mints.

Trail mix was available to grab in the lobby, and guests could snack on dehydrated vegetables during the ceremony.

Snack boxes have been a years-long tradition at the Oscars now. In 2024, Jimmy Kimmel provided a soft Philly-style pretzel in his giveaways from actor Adam Shapiro’s Shappy Pretzel Co.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the snack is a mainstay in the craft services tables of many Hollywood productions. Last year, O’Brien provided Swedish fish, a pretzel and water.

Wolfgang Puck catered the post-Oscars Governor’s Ball for the 29th year, along with Wolfgang Puck Catering vice president of culinary Eric Klein and a team of 115 chefs from his restaurant empire.

The menu included truffled chicken potpie, fresh-sliced sashimi, potato- and caviar-filled cannoli, gelato and, as is tradition, Oscar-shaped chocolate statues with a fresh, edible gold spray.
