The stars — specifically, sitcom stars — have aligned at Dunkin’ for its latest Super Bowl spectacle.
Dunkin’ just dropped its 2026 Super Bowl ad, after airing a teaser of Ben Affleck pitching a “cringe” VHS tape to fellow ’90s sitcom stars Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc and Jason Alexander the week prior.
In the minute-long commercial, Affleck reveals the contents of the tape he showed the trio in the teaser: a mashup of at least six sitcoms, several stars and one movie, in what he calls “Good Will Dunkin.’”
While last year’s batty, coffee bean-covered, DunKings-themed ad also starred Affleck, with cameos from Tom Brady, Matt Damon and Jeremy Strong, this year’s pivots from music to television.
It’s a never-aired sitcom pilot set in 1995 — the year the brand put iced coffee on its menu. The episode follows the accidental “invention” of iced coffee inside a Dunkin’ in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by a cast of familiar faces — nine of them, to be exact.

“Before the movie, a much better version of ‘Good Will Hunting’ was made as a sitcom with a real genius in the lead and some other actors,” Affleck says at the start of the commercial.
The ad imagines a small-screen version of the Oscar-winning film with Affleck — instead of Damon — as Will. And instead of doing janitorial work, Will is employed at a Dunkin’ by boss Alexander.
“Hey, Will, did you arrange the Munchkins in the Fibonacci sequence?” Alexander, known for his role as George Costanza on “Seinfeld,” asks. “I got a genius working for me.”
Nostalgic, cringeworthy sitcom tropes dominate the commerical, as actors recite iconic lines from “Friends” and other shows of the time.

Referencing a Costanza line, Jasmine Guy, who played Whitney Gilbert on “A Different World,” says, “I will marry the first man that can help me with the Fibonacci sequence,” and several men gather to help.
“‘A Different World’ will always be family to me, so stepping back into that era for Dunkin’ felt like coming home,” Guy tells TODAY.com. “Sharing the set with this cast made it a real highlight.”
Aniston appears at the end of the ad, after breaking up with Affleck’s character, to show off her new boyfriend.
“You like doughnuts?” Aniston asks.
“Yeah,” Affleck replies.
“Well, this is my new boyfriend,” Aniston says, pulling Brady into frame. She asks, “How do you like ‘deez nuts’?” in a reference to Dr. Dre’s 1992 song.
The cast shrugs, ending the ad but not the memory of the former Patriot’s salad-bowl-shaped wig, worthy of its own laugh track.
The corny commercial is full of gasp-worthy cameos from sitcom greats — including one 78-year-old who appears just as he did in the ’80s.
“Dunkin’ brought the right people together with such a funny idea, and the energy on set made it all click,” Ted Danson tells TODAY.com. “It was a really fun day.”

There is so much star power in this commercial, we thought a bulleted list of actors in order of appearance may be helpful:

- Jason Alexander — George Costanza from “Seinfeld”
- Matt LeBlanc — Joey Tribbiani from “Friends”

- Alfonso Ribeiro — Carlton Banks from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”
- Jaleel White — Steve Urkel/Stefan Urquelle from “Family Matters”
