garlic bread lined in a baking dish with cheese and pepperoni dip in the middle

I’m willing to say that technically, the number one must-have on Super Bowl Sunday is the Super Bowl, but shareable party dips are a very close number two. While there’s always room for classics like Buffalo chicken dip and spinach artichoke dip, this pull-apart garlic bread pizza dip just be my new favorite. I layered cheesy garlic bread (made from refrigerated biscuits!) on top of a pizza-inspired dip, made from a creamy ricotta, cream cheese, mini pepperonis, and mozzarella. The result is a two-in-one appetizer: a cheesy, saucy dip with golden biscuits to pull-apart and scoop it all up with. Ready in a little over an hour, this is the dip to serve when you need to serve a crowd a killer game day app with minimal effort:

All about the biscuits:
Any refrigerated biscuit dough will work for this recipe. I used Pillsbury Grands because they’re easy to use (and extremely delicious), but you can also use Rhodes rolls if you prefer—just remember that you’ll have to let them rise before baking, and that the cooking time will likely be shorter, so keep an eye on them. If using Pillsbury, you’re going to want to halve your biscuits and roll them into balls before placing them in your pan.

Dip variations:
Just like your favorite slice, this pizza dip is customizable. Not a pepperoni fan? Feel free to leave them out! Add in your favorite veggies to make this a supreme-style dip, or add in even more herbs to your oil and garlic mixture to really add a flavor boost to this dip.

Not feeling biscuits? Try our pizza dip if you’re looking for true pizza vibes, or our garlic bread pizza dip if you prefer a higher dip-to-biscuit ratio.

Serving ideas:
This dip is an ideal addition to your game day spread of garlic knots, chicken wings, pigs in a blanket, and nachos supreme. Looking to switch it up? Serve this cheesy dip alongside jalapeño popper crisps, buffalo chicken meatballs, and pulled pork nachos.
