If you’re looking for an easy, impressive app for this holiday season, you’ve got to make these brie bites. The flavor combination just makes sense—flaky puff pastry paired with nutty, buttery brie and drizzled with honey—and the method is so fun. Instead of making these in a mini muffin tin like you might with another bite-sized app, you build them upside-down, hence the name. They’re a little bit fancy without being too stuffy, and are sure to impress your friends and family. This recipe makes 8, but trust me, and make extra!

Ingredients
-
- Step 1Roll out your puff pastry to about 1½ times its size. Using a 3½-inch circular cookie cutter, cut 8 rounds.
- Step 2Place parchment paper on a sheet pan, add honey in little dollops (about 1/2 tablespoon per bite), score the brie, and place on top. Wrap the puff pastry over the brie as tightly as you can.
- Step 3Pinch the edges with a fork to prevent them from puffing up.
- Step 4Brush with the egg and bake at 400° for 18-20 minutes.
- Step 5Transfer bites to a platter. Top with chives, and drizzle with more honey.
