TGI Fridays is providing a bit of relief to the essential workers who are keeping air travel afloat amid the ongoing government shutdown.

The restaurant chain just announced plans to give away free meals to TSA and air traffic control workers, who have been working without pay since the shutdown began on Oct. 1.

TGI Fridays Is Giving Away Meals Through Oct. 23

Starting Oct. 9 and ending Oct. 23, TGI Fridays will give away one free meal per day to TSA and air traffic control workers at 80+ U.S. locations while supplies last. If the shutdown ends before Oct. 23, the offer will end early.

The offer is available at any U.S. location, including those located in an airport, except at Atlanta airports, which have another offer for TSA employees.

Workers Can Choose from a Curated Menu

TGI Friday’s is offering several choices for the free meals, including the following options:

  • Cheeseburger with fries

Employees can redeem the offer while dining in at traditional TGI Fridays restaurants or for to-go orders at airport locations.
