It’s not even October yet, but there’s a humungous holiday item at Costco that might have you clamoring for Christmas anyway.
On Sept. 21, TikToker Laura Lamb, known on social media as @costcohotfinds, posted a sponsored video for Lindt showing the company’s enormous Advent calendar being sold at the popular warehouse store.
“This is absolutely insane. Costco has a giant, five-foot-tall Advent calendar that’s filled with 24 days of full size Lindt chocolates,” she says in her video. “I’ve never seen anything like this. I had such a blast opening it up.”
As shown by Lamb, each day of the calendar reveals either bags of Lindt truffles, full bars of chocolate or the brand’s coveted Hollow Milk Chocolate Teddy Bear.
“I can’t believe this is real. It’s the most fun and delicious countdown to the holidays ever,” she declares, adding that the calendar is being sold in select warehouses. “I hope you spot yours before they’re gone.”
Lamb’s video — which garnered nearly 3 million views — notes in the caption that the release of the calendar is staggered depending on where you are in the country.
Folks in the Southeast and Northwest regions of the U.S. have had access to the giant calendar since Sept. 15 and Sept. 20 respectively; in the Northeast region, it became available on Sept. 25; and in the San Diego region, it will be stocked in select stores on Sept. 29.
Lamb says the Advent calendar in her video is from a Costco in Brentwood, Tennessee and retails for $189.
“Although it’s hard but to tear through all 24 in one sitting because it’s so exciting to see what’s inside, we’re going to enjoy one day at a time as a family,” Lamb tells TODAY.com.
In her comments section, people were impressed with the staggering size of the calendar — but not its price.
“$180 that thing can stay there 😂,” wrote one viewer.
