Bad news for adults: Wendy’s is not bringing back its Boo! Bags this Halloween; but good news for kids: It is bringing back its Frosty Frights Kids’ Meals.

The burger chain recently announced that its Halloween-themed kids’ meals and Boo! Books are both returning for 2025, while supplies last. Participating in the chain’s Boo! Books promotion will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in its mission to find homes for children in foster care.

What Comes In the Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal?

Wendy’s is now offering Frosty Frights Kids’ Meals, which features the choice of a 4-piece chicken nuggets, a hamburger or cheeseburger, plus Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or Apple Bites and a kids’ drink, for a limited time.

Additionally, kiddos can collect Frosty Frights kids’ meal toys inspired by the Frosty, including “spooky-fun” characters like The Yummy, Chilly Gilly, Ice Patch, Captain Coldsnap, Meltin and Purrrma Frost. Little Wendy’s customers can collect up to 12 toy characters (which include six special, “bright fright” variants).

They can also find the Frosty Frights characters featured in this year’s Boo! Books and take a quiz to find out which Frosty Frights character they’re most like.

Wendy’s Boo! Books

Wendy’s Boo! Books are themed coupon books sold every fall for $1 that come with five free Jr. Frosty treat coupons. This year, it will also give customers a sixth bonus coupon for a $1.99 Wendy’s Kids’ Meal.

Every Boo! Book purchase helps support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in its mission to find homes for children in foster care, with 90 cents of every $1 sold benefitting the charity.

To buy a Boo! Book, visit any participating Wendy’s restaurant to purchase them for $1. Customers can also order Boo! Books through the Wendy’s mobile app or at self-order kiosks — just look for the “Give Something Back” category.

Customers can also order Boo! Books in bulk through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption website.

The five free Jr. Frosty and $1.99 kids’ meal coupons may be redeemed through Dec. 31.

Burger King Is Also Offering Collectibles for Halloween

Wendy’s isn’t the only fast-food chain starting to get into the Halloween spirit.

After a one-year hiatus, Burger King is bringing back its BK Halloween Buckets to compete with McDonald’s Boo Buckets (which haven’t yet bet announced). Customers can grab the limited-edition buckets inspired by the burger chain’s menu items for $2 at participating U.S. restaurants starting Monday, Oct. 13, while supplies last.
