This Halloween, trick-or-treating can come with a side of Chicken Fries.
A Burger King representative confirmed to TODAY.com that after a one-year hiatus, its BK Halloween Buckets are making a comeback.
Customers can get their hands on the newly designed, limited-edition Halloween Buckets inspired by the burger chain’s menu items for $2 at participating U.S. restaurants starting Monday, Oct. 13, while supplies last.
The cartoon-covered bucket features a box of Chicken Fries dressed as a mummy, a burger patty wearing a football helmet, and a chicken nugget (or patty) in a witch costume.

In 2023, Burger King debuted a Halloween bucket, a glow-in-the-dark Halloween keepsake inspired by its ghost pepper menu, which many folks said looked like McDonald’s Boo Buckets.
That foray into a few cities marked the first time that McDonald’s had any real competition in the fast-food trick-or-treating receptacle category since it started offering Boo Buckets in 1986.
In 2024, Burger King skipped the buckets and dropped food inspired by “The Addams Family,” including a purple “Wednesdays Whopper” and other gloomy-but-scintillating grub.
And this year, Wendy’s followed in its competitor’s footsteps with the “Meal of Misfortune,” a collab with the hit Netflix show “Wedneday,” starring Jenna Ortega — no bucket included.
