The air is crisp, the leaves are changing colors and college football season is finally back.
Just in time for football fans’ favorite time of the year, Chipotle is running a deal to make life a little sweeter. But it won’t be around for long.
Below, we’re breaking down everything you need to know to cash in on the deal.
Chipotle Has a BOGO Offer on Sept. 15
Chipotle teased its college football freebie offer on its Instagram page over the weekend, calling it a celebration of “the most wonderful time of the year.”
Here’s how it works: Customers who wear a college football jersey on Monday, Sept. 15 after 5 p.m. local time until close will score a buy-one, get-one offer.
In other words, when customers purchase an entrée, they’ll get a free one of equal or lesser value. Kids’ meals are excluded.
The deal is only valid in restaurant at participating locations and is limited to five free items per check while supplies last. It’s not valid on catering, mobile, online or delivery orders, and it can’t be combined with other offers or coupons.
Chipotle Just Brought Back a Popular Menu Item
Earlier this month, Chipotle welcomed Carne Asada back to the menu in U.S. and Canada restaurants for a limited time.
Per the chain restaurant, Carne Asada is Chipotle’s most-searched menu item, according to a Google search history. It was first added to the menu in 2019 and has been brought back four times.
The popular item features “tender, juicy cuts of freshly grilled steak, finished with fresh lime and cilantro,” according to the fast-casual chain.
Through Sept. 30, customers can enjoy free delivery on all Carne Asada orders in the Chipotle app or website.
