Ingredients

1 cup rice, 3-4 tbsp tamarind, 1 tbsp jaggery, salt and pepper.For tempering: 1/2 tsp mustard oil, handful of peanuts, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp. cashew nuts, 1 tbsp chana dal, 1 tbsp urad dal, salt, 2-3 green chilies, 2 red chili broken, handful curry leaves, 1 pinch asafoetida.
