DoorDash, Food Brands Celebrate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement With Major Deals

It was the engagement heard ‘round the world — and food brands are hopping on the betrothal bandwagon by discounting their wares.

On Aug. 26, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced they are engaged to be married, and Swifties around the globe have fully leaned in to the joy of the moment.

Among those Swifties are chain restaurants, which have taken the opportunity to weigh in: Starbucks admitted its PSL drop was overshadowed; Panera and Auntie Anne’s punnily posted; and Buffalo Wild Wings offered to cater the wedding.

There are also some food brands who took the happy news to offer tasty discounts and freebies — like Krispy Kreme, who offered free doughnut rings for two hours on Aug. 26.

Here are all the food deals and specials being offered in honor of Swift and Kelce’s “Love Story”:

California Pizza Kitchen

Starting Aug. 29, California Pizza Kitchen is offering customers heart-shaped pizzas to celebrate T & T’s upcoming nuptials. For 13 days — Swift’s lucky number — CPK guests can order an “It’s a Love Story Pizza,” featuring a heart-shaped thin crust pizza in any flavor (starting at $17.99), available for a limited time for dine-in and takeout.

Papa Johns

If you share a name with the bride- or groom-to-be, you win.

On Aug. 27 only, Papa Johns is giving $13 worth of free Papa Dough — which can be used to get a free pizza — to every Papa Rewards member named Taylor or Travis. The bonus is available nationwide in-store, online and on the Papa Johns app, and it must be used by 12 a.m. EST.

Olipop

Olipop announced on Instagram that customers can take an extra 13% off any new or existing subscription order by using code LOVERS13.

This is on top of its 15% subscription discount, which means redeemers will get 28% off any one subscription order “from now until forever.”

DoorDash

Starting Aug. 27, DoorDash is offering Swifties 13% off their DoorDash order with the code THIRTEEN, for a limited time.

Portillo’s

Portillo’s perks members can score a free small Onion Rings with a purse of $1.13 or more. The offer is only valid for seven days and is limited to one redemption per customer.
