When it comes to savory campfire snacks, hot dogs seem to get all the love. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good hot dog, but I’m here to tell you—the magic of the campfire is endless. It can take on everything from mac and cheese to roasted potatoes, and now I’m here to introduce a new campfire classic: loaded nachos. All you need are a handful of canned goods to make melty, topping-packed nachos that will sustain an entire night of ghost stories.
I went with pinto beans, corn, green chiles, and pickled jalapeño slices for my nachos, before topping them with queso fresco, avocado, sour cream, green onions, cilantro, and sliced radishes. I love this combination of flavors and textures (it has an incredible crunch factor), but feel free to get creative with your favorite toppings for nachos! I highly recommend taking inspo from our nachos supreme, elote nachos, or green chile chicken nachos
